FAIR: A model of certification of skills and competences for volunteers and professionals in the fair trade sector

The international Conference is organized within the three-year research project named ‘FAIR - For a new recognition of skills informally and non formally developed in the fair trade sector’. The aim is to present research results and the model of certification developed by the international group of research. The model wants to support volunteers and professionals in having their skills and competences developed in their daily fair trade activities recognized and certified. Project survey involved four European contexts: Italy, Spain, France, Malta. In the four countries investigated differences and similarities emerged in terms of typologies of individuals involved in the fair trade shops and import organisations, skills and competences developed by them, expectations in having their skills and competences recognized by companies.
Different speakers will participate in the international Conference giving their contribution to the debate on the project issues related to the recognition of informal and non formal learning pathways, researches carried out in this field and in the field of fair trade.
Simultaneous translation (English-Italian-English) will be available.
