The delicious and crumbly altromercato biscuits are prepared with ingredients produced by the fair trade partners from the South. Chocolate chip and cane sugar biscuits are a high-quality biscuit (shortbread type) made with honey, cane sugar and filled with delicious chocolate chips.

All ingredients are kneaded, modelled and baked with care in a small biscuit factory in Italy. Some of the processing stages are carried out manually. All altromercato biscuits are of excellent quality and very nutritious. Ideal for breakfast and tea pause.

Altromercato pearl barley is cultivated by small farmers in Angamarca (Ecuador) at an altitude of 2500-3800 meters. The barley is harvested and hand-husked by Ecca, a producer group affiliated to Camari. % of fair trade ingredients: 100% Producers Tienda Camari is committed to promoting the development of the agricultural and handicrafts sectors. It operates in 17 provinces in Ecuador. The association fights for the recognition of the quechua language and culture and provides support to a network of independent peasant shops called “tiendas campesinas”.
